The Fortress of The Glorious Dharma

Tashi Chho Dzong .....The Religious and Administrative Headquarters of both the Je Khenpo, the Spiritual Leader and that of the King, His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck. A similar contemporary dzong faces the historical from across the Wang Chhu River. This Dzong (below) is the seat of the first democratically elected Prime Minister of Bhutan, Jigmi Y Thinley. Besides, it also houses the Parliament.
